Dexcom G6 Sensor Error Wait 3 Hours. Cupping therapy at home with candle. Sadly at around 11am i had my first issue, dex lost connection and was showing ”sensor error” please wait… so after 3 hours of waiting it came back to life, not great.
When i put my sensor on, it says there's an error; You will now need to replace the sensor. I call dexcom, they say they’ll send me a new one.
I Wear Them On My Thigh And Have Been For 3 Months No Issue.
Noise means that the raw values being reported don't make sense to the transmitter or the dexcom app based on what the trend was previously. 15 minutes later it tells me sensor failed, start new sensor. My dexcom is inserted in my stomach.
It Will Go Through The Last 5 Minutes Of The Warm Up And Then Go Back On Line With An Accurate Reading.
I'm at work so i can't replace it. Sensor error then sensor failed. I then wait 3 hours and then bring it out.
I Call Dexcom, They Say They’ll Send Me A New One.
Then it says to install a new sensor. It's not an app issue cause i'm getting the same message on the receiver. Cupping therapy at home with candle.
With The G5, We're Supposed To Wait It Out For Up To 3 Hours And See If It Picks Back Up.
When i put my sensor on, it says there's an error; Wait up to 3 hours is dexcom's way of handling temporary noise due to activity, stress, rapidly fluctuating bgs, etc, but if it doesn't come back after that long, the sensor is likely a goner. That i need to wait 3 hours.
After 3 Hours It Will Fail And Give You The Message To Remove It.
This could be for a few reasons including how close to a muscle the sensor is, the quality of interstitial fluid in that area, or the amount of scar tissue in that area. This error means that the sensor is noisy.
