Bank 2 O2 Sensor Voltage

Bank 2 O2 Sensor Voltage. 97 jeep zj p0340 p0118 p0108 p0351 Depending on the running condition, the voltage will range from 0.1 to 1 volt.

I notice i wasn't getting any voltage on the back downstream o2 sensor so i bought a new one and put in and still no voltagealso i go thru a lot of fuel about 70 miles from 1/2 till low fuel light is on. This code applies to the downstream oxygen sensor located right behind the catalytic converter. Being behind the catalytic converter, sensor 2 should give steadier readings.

The Code Will Set When Your Car’s Primary Computer—Also Called The Powertrain Control Module (Pcm)—Detects That, For A Given Period Of Time, The Voltage Signal From The Rear O2 Sensor Is Too High.

I Was Watching The Live Data Stream And Can See That The B2S2 Is Reading No Voltage.

On idle or while cruising at a constant speed, this should be around 0.45 volts. What does high voltage mean on o2 sensor? What is bank 1 sensor 2 voltage?

It’s A Four Wire Sensor Being Supplied A 0.5 Volt Reference Voltage (Usually On The Signal Wire) And A Ground, As Well As A Power And Ground Circuit For The O2 Sensor Heater Element.

Bank 2 sensor 1 is the first sensor closest to the engine. The code is triggered when: Being behind the catalytic converter, sensor 2 should give steadier readings.

It Means That The Oxygen Sensor’s Voltage Has Remained Lower Than Factory Specifications For A Certain Amount Of Time.

This refers to a trouble in the bank 2 sensor 2 of the o2 (oxygen) sensor, which is located near the backside of the exhaust, behind the catalytic converter. Diagnostic trouble code (dtc) p0152 stands for “o2 sensor circuit high voltage (bank 2, sensor 1). Diagnostic trouble code (dtc) p0138 stands for o2 sensor circuit high voltage (bank 1, sensor 2).

This Code Basically Means That The Bank 2, Sensor 2 (Or Second O2 Sensor Back On Bank 2) Signal Voltage Is Below What Is Considered Normal For That Sensor.

The o2 sensor 2 is the downstream o2 sensor and it measures the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases leaving the catalytic converter (cat). P0151 code warns about a fault with the upstream oxygen sensor on bank 2. P0158 is an obdii code that occurs in many vehicles, including the acura integra.
